If you are a youth looking for your first job or an adult wanting direct support, you can connect with an employment counsellor at VCCS Employment Services. They have helped thousands of local residents with resumes, job search strategies, and employment connections.

You can keep abreast of local programs with the Kawartha Lakes events calendar and we recommend you take advantage of the services of your local chambers of commerce. These chambers are a way to connect you to local businesses and access additional services and training.
With small town living comes cute rural main streets just waiting to be explored. The charming downtowns that make up the communities of Kawartha Lakes offer delicious restaurants for a date, local breweries to meet friends, and 
creative crafts to decorate your new living space. A summer swim and stroll is the perfect way to introduce your family and friends to your new piece of paradise.
