COVID-19 has potentially disproportionate impacts on vulnerable groups, including people with disabilities. People with disabilities that have existing health conditions may be at an increased risk of developing complications from COVID-19. Barriers to accessing information, critical social services and health care may lead to additional challenges for persons with disabilities.
