Palliative Care |
Purpose: To fill a void in the care of dying residents and their families by "just being there" Duties and responsibilities:
Time Commitment: To be on call and available for any length of stay your schedule would allow Required skill and Qualifications:
Orientation and Training: A general orientation to the residents beliefs, room and condition will be given by the Volunteer Coordinator on initial phone call or visit. |
Friendly One-to-One Visiting |
Purpose: To provide an enjoyable activity for residents. Duties and responsibilities:
Time Commitment: Required Skills and Qualifications:
Orientation and Training: A general orientation to the Home and job will be given by the Volunteer Coordinator or selected staff/volunteer prior to your first shift. |
Outings Volunteer |
Purpose: To assist the recreation staff with residents while on outings. Duties and responsibilities:
