- Street lighting work will continue all week
- The temporary street lighting will remain operational until at least one side of the street has permanent street lighting energized.
- Paving stone installation will begin and continue all week.

- Some parking stalls along both blocks will be occupied to allow workers access to the sidewalk and boulevard areas to complete their work.
Week of September 6
- Coco Paving and our electrical sub contractor (TM3) will be on site to begin installing the permanent street lighting.
- The temporary street lighting will remain operational until at least one side of the street has operational permanent lighting.
- Two way traffic will remain in all directions for the week. Minor flagging operations may take place as required for equipment setup or deliveries but will be kept to a minimum.
- Some parking stalls along both blocks will be required to allow workers access to the sidewalk and boulevard areas to complete their work.
- Coco Paving will begin removing the gravel in the boulevard in preparation of the new paving stone installation beginning the following week.
Week of June 21
- Colborne St. – Water St. to Bond St.
- Construction in these two blocks is completed for Spring 2021
- Work will be on hold until after Labour Day Weekend.
- June 28 to August 26:
A secondary portion of the Colborne St. Reconstruction Project consists of various repairs of the underground storm water tunnel crossing Colborne St.
- The concrete crews will be in town to complete this work however, as all the work is completed below the buildings and streets very minor disturbance is expected to residents and businesses. Access to the tunnel will be by manholes and culverts so crews and equipment may congregate near these access points to complete the work inside it.

Week of May 24, 2021 Colborne St. Water St. to Bond Street
- General clean up, flushing and video of the sewers, raising catchbasins to asphalt grade, placing and grading top granulars.
- The electrical contractor will be installing the temporary street lights.
- Demobilizing of various equipment no longer needed on the project.
- Preparing to pave the base asphalt in the next couple weeks.
- Northbound traffic will remain through both blocks all week.
- Southbound traffic will remain detoured around both blocks for the week.
Week of May 17, 2021 Colborne St. Water St. to Bond Street
- The crews will be cleaning up, adding granulars and grading for concrete curb and sidewalk.
- Concrete curb and sidewalk will be poured in various locations in each block throughout the week.
- Access to buildings throughout the week will be maintained as much as possible however minor interruptions may take place.
- Northbound traffic will remain through both blocks all week.
- Southbound traffic will remain detoured around both blocks for the week.
Week of May 10, 2021
Colborne St. Water St. to Bond Street
- The underground crew will be completing the final watermain hookup at Francis St.
- Any affected businesses or residents have been notified.
- Misc. storm sewer and fire hydrant work to take place on the East side of Colborne St.
- Road excavation and granular placement on the East side of Colborne St.
- Concrete curb and sidewalk grading and pouring to take place all week in the block of Colborne St. between Water St. and Francis St. both sides of the street.
- Northbound traffic will remain through both blocks all week.
- Southbound traffic will remain detoured around both blocks for the week.
Week of May 3, 2021 Colborne St. (Water St. to Francis St.)
- The crew in this block will be completing the sanitary sewer and one watermain hookup in the Francis St. intersection.
- No resident or business will be out of water during the watermain connection.
- Concrete removals and service installation will also be taking place throughout the week on the East side of this block.
Colborne St. (Water St. to Francis St.)
- The second crew will be in this block completing hydro conduits
- Forming and pouring the box culvert tunnel
- Installing ground plates and cleaning up and preparing to grade for curb
- Northbound traffic will remain through both blocks all week.
- Southbound traffic will remain detoured around both blocks for the week.
Week of April 26, 2021
Colborne St. (Francis St. to Bond St.)
- The crew in this block will continue to install storm sewer for most of the week on the West side of the block.
- Southbound traffic will remain detoured around Colborne St. all week
Colborne St. (Water St. to Francis St.)
- The second crew will finish up the road excavation and granular placement on the West side of the Street.

During the day on Wednesday the crew will flip to the East side of this block and continue to install water and sanitary services to the buildings.

Concrete removals on the East side will take place for the second half of the week to install the services.

- The second crew will finish up the road excavation and granular placement on the West side of the Street.
- During the day on Wednesday the crew will flip to the East side of this block and continue to install water and sanitary services to the buildings.
- Concrete removals on the East side will take place for the second half of the week to install the services.
- Small sections of the sidewalk will be closed temporarily to install the services.

Week of April 12, 2021
Colborne St. (Francis St. to Bond St.)
- One crew will complete a watermain cut and cap and install the remainder of the watermain within the Francis St. intersection.
- Some residents and businesses may be temporarily out of water during the cut and cap on Monday (Notices have already been handed out to the affected buildings)
- The Southbound traffic will remain detoured around Colborne. St. for the week.
- Once the work in the intersection is complete the crew will move to begin storm sewer installation on the West side of this block for the remainder of the week.
Colborne St. (Water St. to Francis St.)
- The second crew will complete concrete removals all week while sanitary services are installed on the West side of this block.
- Storm sewer installation will also take place during the week on the same side of the block.
- Parts of the sidewalk on West side will be closed temporarily in small sections to install the sanitary services.
- Southbound traffic will remain detoured around this block as well for the week.
Week of April 5, 2021
Colborne St. (Francis St. to Bond St.)
- Continue installing sanitary sewer and watermain heading North from Francis St. towards Bond St.
- Installing new sanitary and water services on the West side of this block.
- Parts of the sidewalk on the West side will be closed temporarily in small sections to install the services.
- The Southbound traffic will remain detoured around Colborne St. for the week.
Colborne St. (Water St. to Francis St.)
- Concrete removals and water service installation will occur all week on the West side of this block.
- Minor water interruptions may occur while connecting the new water services to the existing plumbing within the buildings.
- Notification will be given 24 hours prior to this brief switch over for each individual building.
- Parts of the sidewalk on the West side of this block will be closed temporarily in small sections to install the services.
- Southbound traffic will remain detoured around this block for the week.
Week of March 29, 2021
Colborne St. (Francis St. to Bond St.)
- Continue installing sanitary sewer as well as watermain heading North from Francis St. towards bond with main line crew.
- Installing new sanitary services on the West side of this block during the week as well.
- Parts of the sidewalk will be temporarily closed in small sections to install the sanitary services
- The Southbound traffic will remain detoured around Colborne St. for the week.
Colborne St. (Water St. to Francis St.)
- A second crew will be on site to complete a watermain connection at Water St. and Colborne St.
- Concrete removals and water service installation will occur all week on the West side of the street.

Week of March 22, 2021
- Colborne St. Water St. to Francis St.: The watermain within this block will be under test for the entire week prior to final hookups. Ongoing backfill operations and concrete removals will take place throughout the week. The Southbound traffic will remain detoured around Colborne St.
- Colborne St. Francis St. to Bond St.: The intersection of Francis St. will be closed to all but Northbound traffic in order to install the sanitary sewer manhole in the middle of the intersection. We anticipate this intersection to remain closed as described for the remainder of the week to allow the watermain and sanitary sewer installations across it.
- Southbound traffic on Colborne St. will be detoured via Bond St. W./Market St./May St. and Water St.
- Following, they will begin pulverizing the existing asphalt and installing pedestrian safety fence and signage.
- Watermain and sanitary sewer installation will also continue north from Francis St. to Bond St. for the remainder of the week.
Week of March 15, 2021
- The crews will continue installing sanitary sewer and watermain heading North from Water St. heading towards Francis St.
- The traffic control and detour will remain in effect for the week.
Week of March 8, 2021
- Crews will begin installing sanitary sewer and watermain at Colborne St. and Water St. heading North towards Francis St.
- The traffic control and detour will stay in effect for the week.
Week of March 1, 2021
- Set up traffic detour around the block of Colborne St. between Francis St. and Water St.
- Construction safety fence will be put up within this block to delineate the work zone from the single travel lane and the pedestrian zones.
- Excavate test pits in the roadway
- Continue to mobilize the site
- Moving in equipment and materials
- Daylighting of underground utilities
- Pulverize the existing asphalt on Colborne St. between Water St. and Francis St.
- Cut and Cap watermain at Water St. and Colborne St.
- Local water outages will occur, notices will be handed out ahead of time
- Continue to prepare to start sanitary sewer excavation

The project will be completed in two phases, taking place in the spring and in the fall of 2021, with a break in the summer months. The first phase will take place between March and May 2021. The second phase will resume Labour Day weekend in September and is expected to be completed by the late fall.
