The current Mayor of Kawartha Lakes is Doug Elmslie. The current Deputy Mayor of Kawartha Lakes is Ward 7 Councillor Charlie McDonald. EventsThe Mayor's Office receives invitations for the Mayor and/or Councillors to attend significant events in the community. Please try to give us as much notice as possible as there are many events in Kawartha Lakes. The Mayor and Councillors intend to attend as many as possible, however this may not always be an option. The Mayor's Office may suggest having the Deputy Mayor or local Councillor attend your event in place of the Mayor.
