Housing and Homelessness Plan

The following survey is designed to discover the housing needs of the City of Kawartha Lakes and County of Haliburton. The information from this survey will be used to help inform the recommendations in the City's 10 Year Housing and Homelessness Plan (2019 to 2029). The Plan is a comprehensive document that will outline a broad strategic plan for housing and homelessness programs and services for the area.

Making Waste Matter: Integrated Waste Management Strategy

2019 Strategic update survey

The “Making Waste Matter: Integrated Waste Management Strategy” for Kawartha Lakes is currently under review and will be updated later on this year. Waste Management is looking for public feedback on the current strategy and is interested in hearing directly from residents on new ideas or programs that could be incorporated in the updated document.

Kawartha Lakes Cultural Master Plan

Participate in a Survey for the 2020 - 2030

Kawartha Lakes invites citizens to contribute to the 2020 -2030 Cultural Master Plan. An extensive public consultation process is currently underway to identify perceptions of current cultural offerings and to develop a cultural vision that identifies concrete strategies and actions to facilitate the growth of the cultural economy, cultural tourism and contribute to a vibrant quality of life in Kawartha Lakes.
