Milk Run course marshall volunteersKawartha Lakes – The 2024 Lindsay Milk Run event is seeking volunteers in a variety of neighborhoods throughout Lindsay to assist as Course Marshals along the 5 and 10 kilometre routes.

If you live within the neighbourhoods listed below and are available to assist on Sunday July 21 between 7:45am and approximately 9:30am, the Kawartha Lakes Parks and Recreation Division would love to hear from you!

Volunteer Course Marshals are needed for the following areas:

  • Albert Street/Melbourne Street
  • Albert Street/Ardmore Avenue
  • Albert Street/Glenelg Street
  • Albert Street/Russell Street
  • Albert Street/Peel Street
  • Albert Street/Fair Avenue
  • Albert Street/Francis Street
  • Albert Street/Regent Street
  • Albert Street/Pottinger Street
  • Adelaide Street/Rosemary Drive
  • Northlin Park Road/Rosemary Avenue and Angeline Street
  • Angeline Street/Alcorn Drive
  • Springdale Gardens
  • Adelaide Street/Elgin Street
  • Adelaide Street/Regent Street
  • Adelaide Street/Chadwin Drive
  • Adelaide Street/Bond Street
  • Adelaide Street/Fair Avenue
  • Adelaide Street/Roosevelt Street
  • Adelaide Street/Howard Avenue

In addition to getting to play a vital role in this fun, annual community event taking place in their neighborhood; all volunteers will receive a volunteer t-shirt, use of reflective vest during their on route volunteer role, acknowledgement of volunteer hour contribution (if requested) and post race refreshments.

On route volunteers must be a minimum of 16 years of age. If under the age of 16, an adult will be required to accompany the volunteer.
