Kawartha Lakes - Due to the Ontario-wide lock down which began on December 26, 2020, the City’s Service Centres are closed to public access and will remain so until at least January 23rd. During this time, smart vend cards for bulk water services can be loaded at 322 Kent St W, Lindsay between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday. To have your card loaded please contact us through email (rmacpherson@kawarthalakes.ca) or telephone (705-324-9411 ext 1173.) Please note that the building is currently closed to the public.
In addition, during the lock down the City’s coin-operated water dispensing units will remain fully operational. These are located at 1 Thornhill Road, Lindsay or 33 Mary St. East, Lindsay, where you are able to connect to a 2 inch female cam-lock and dispense water through the usage of loonies. ($3.81 per 1000 L).
If you require smaller quantities of water, there are $0.25 coin-operated machines. One is located at the Fenelon Falls Fire Station at 9 John St, Fenelon Falls and the other is located at 3474 Monck Road, Norland. Please note that these two facilities do not have hose connection ports, and can only use the 3/8” fill tap provided for your tanks.
Additional information will be provided before January 23, 2021 via email should the process to reload your bulk water cards change.
