City advises social services clients that regular mail delivery will resume

The first of the month cheques, for the month of September, will continue to be available for pick up at local Social Services offices. Monthly cheques not picked up by Tuesday September 6 will be reviewed by caseworkers and may be mailed end of day Tuesday.

Clients are encouraged to contact their Caseworker if they would like to have their cheque mailed immediately.

Clients are encouraged to register for Direct Bank Deposit of their assistance. All payments can be made by DBD to avoid travel to pick up cheques or mailing delays. Please contact your caseworker for further information.
