City of Kawartha Lakes congratulates Inspector Mark Mitchell as next Police Chief
KAWARTHA LAKES – City of Kawartha Lakes Police Services announced this week that Inspector Mark Mitchell will become the new Chief of Kawartha Lakes Police Service following the retirement of Chief John Hagarty this summer.
“Inspector Mitchell has all the qualifications to lead our Kawartha Lakes Police Service into the future,” said Mayor Andy Letham. “Chief Hagarty has done a fantastic job and can retire in August knowing the community will be in good hands.”
The City would like to congratulate Inspector Mitchell on his promotion and wish Chief Hagarty the best during his well-deserved retirement.
