City of Kawartha Lakes reminds residents of Labour Day holiday hours

Municipal Service Centres and City Hall
All Municipal Service Centres, Libraries and City Hall will be closed Monday, September 5 in observance of the Labour Day holiday, and will reopen Tuesday, September 6.

Waste Services

There will be no curbside waste collection service on Monday, September 5. Waste collection during the week of September 5 will occur one day later than your regularly scheduled collection day. To avoid missing collection, ensure your waste is placed at the curb no later than 7am.

The Lindsay/Ops Landfill will be closed on Monday, September 5. Eldon, Fenelon, Laxton, and Somerville landfills will be operating with special holiday hours.

Landfill Holiday Hours
Lindsay/Ops Landfill: Closed
Eldon Landfill: 11am to 5pm
Fenelon Landfill: 9am to 5pm
Laxton Landfill: 11am to 5pm
Somerville Landfill: 11am to 5pm

Recreation Facilities and Fitness Centres

The Lindsay Recreation Complex and Forbert Memorial Pool will both be closed on Monday, September 5 and will reopen Tuesday, September 6.

Lindsay Transit
Lindsay Transit-Ride Smart and Limo Specialized Transit will not be operating on Monday September 5. Regular services will resume on Tuesday, September 6.
