COVID-19 Update 13 - Making payments during COVID-19 pandemic

Kawartha Lakes— During this time when administrative buildings are closed to the public, we’d like to remind residents of alternate payment options:

Tax payments

To make paying your taxes as convenient as possible we provide a variety of payment options including:

• by mail to PO Box 696 Lindsay, ON K9V 4W9 (post-dated cheques are accepted)
• telephone or online banking
• drop box at any Municipal Service Centre or City Hall
• online by credit card (there is a 2.75% charge for this service)
• over the phone by credit card at 1-866-961-2313 (there is a 2.75% charge for this service)

All payments must be received in our office on or before the due date. Late payments will be subject to penalty and interest charges. We do not accept the postmark as proof of the date of receipt.

Utility payments (Water and Sewer)
For convenience we provide multiple payment options:

• by mail to PO Box 696 Lindsay, ON K9V 4W9
• telephone or online banking
• drop box at any Municipal Service Centre or City Hall
• online by credit card (there is a charge of $6.50 for each payment up to a maximum of $250)
• over the phone by credit card at 1-866-961-2313 (there is a charge of $6.50 for each payment up to a maximum of $250)
• Preauthorized debit payment is available by filling out the form online

To avoid penalty charges, ensure that all payments are in our office on or before the due date. The postmark date is not accepted as the date of receipt.

Dog Licences are available online and your tags will be mailed to you.
