
Kawartha Lakes – As of January 3, City Hall is officially open to the public with the Lindsay Customer Service Centre. As a result, the space at 180 Kent Street West previously occupied by Lindsay Customer Service has been turned into a Development Services Hub. By visiting the service counter on the main floor of 180 Kent St W, the public now has in-person access to Building and Septic staff, as well as continued access by scheduled appointment to Planning for development and zoning questions along with Economic Development services.
Appointments with Planning and Economic Development staff can be scheduled in advance for in-person or Zoom meetings. To schedule an appointment related to a specific application or inquiry, please contact the following:

A variety of Building and Septic services are available for walk-in at the main counter on the first floor of 180 Kent Street West, including:
- Building permit applications
- Septic permit applications
- Pool by-law permit applications
- Sign by-law permit applications
- Accessory residential unit registration applications
- Walk-in payment, submission, pick-up or inquiries related to any of these applications
Building and Septic application/permit drop-off options are also available during regular business hours at the Coboconk Municipal Service Centre (9 Grandy Road, Coboconk) and the Omemee Municipal Service Centre (1 King Street West, Omemee). To meet with staff at either of these locations, please call in advance to ensure they are available: 705-324-9411 extension 1288. Upon request staff can meet at either of those service centres to answer questions related to the applications listed above, as well as zoning as it relates to any of the applications.
