Forced power outage in Lindsay this afternoon

Hydro One forced power outage and service closures in Lindsay this afternoon

Please be advised of a Hydro One forced power outage today in Lindsay from 1:00pm-5:00pm.

Due to a broken pole at the corner of Victoria Avenue and Russell Street, the power will be out from this location south to Durham Street.

Traffic lights at Victoria and Russell will not be in service. Please drive with caution.

The Lindsay Public Library branch will be closed to the public during this time.

The Paramedic Service Administrative Office on Victoria Avenue will be closed during this time, however stations are open and 911 services are fully operational.

Lindsay Transit buses will be operating a few minutes late due to a short diversion but no stops will be missed.
