Kawartha Lakes – Please note the following changes to our hours of operation and service schedules on Friday March 29, 2024 (Good Friday).
Administration Offices
All administration and Municipal Service Centres are closed during regular hours of operation on Friday March 29 (Good Friday). Municipal Service Centres will return to regular business hours on Monday April 1.
Waste and Recycling
Landfills will be closed on Friday March 29 (Good Friday). They will return to regular operating hours on Saturday March 30. Since the holiday is on a Friday, there won’t be any changes to your waste and recycling pick-up day.
Earth Week is coming up! Don’t forget to sign your group up for a 20-Minute Community Clean-Up. Registration closes on April 14, 2024, so be sure to sign your group up today.
Public Library
All library branches will be closed on Friday March 29 (Good Friday), with regular operating hours returning on Saturday March 30.
Lindsay Transit
There will be no Lindsay Transit or LIMO Specialized Transit service on Friday March 29 (Good Friday).
Parks and Recreation
All Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed on Friday March 29 (Good Friday). This includes the administrative office, all recreation centres, arenas and pools.
The weight room at the Lindsay Recreation Complex and Forbert Memorial Pool, Bobcaygeon will resume regular hours on Saturday March 30.
No fitness classes will take place from March 24 through April 1. Spring programming will begin on April 2.
Spring swimming lessons will begin on April 2.
Public swimming will be available on Saturday March 30 and Sunday March 31 at the Lindsay Recreation Complex and Forbert Memorial Pool, Bobcaygeon. To view the schedules and register online visit our Online Program Registration website.
Public skating will be available at the Lindsay Recreation Complex on Sunday March 31 2:15pm to 3:15pm. Pre-registration is required through our Online Program Registration website.
