Have your say in the new City of Kawartha Lakes website

The project has just begun and will be complete in the summer of 2017 with the launch of a new City website and tourism site. The Library Board is also redeveloping its website along similar timelines to better serve its patrons.

The City website will be fully accessible and responsive on all devices (laptop, tablet and phone). It will allow access to local government services and information, the ability to report concerns, look up information and become informed about various aspects of life in Kawartha Lakes. The website is a key tool to support the City’s Strategic Plan as it plays a role in growing a vibrant economy and providing easier access to services.

The public is asked to consider participating in the following ways:

  1. Take a few minutes to fill out the online survey. Tell us how you use the website today, and what services, information and changes you’d like to see in the new site. The survey is found at this link until December 8. https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/X8JR3HW
  2. Participate in hands-on focus groups. Assist our web development team to determine the best way to organize the services and information you want to see in the new site. Participants from the December sessions will be invited to follow up sessions in January.
