Kawartha Lakes announces 2020 Legacy C.H.E.S.T. Fund Grant recipients for Lindsay and Bobcaygeon

Kawartha Lakes – The Lindsay Legacy C.H.E.S.T. Fund Grant Committee and the Bobcaygeon Legacy C.H.E.S.T. Fund Grant Committee have selected this year’s grant recipients. A total of $309,140.90 has been awarded across both communities.

The goal of the Legacy C.H.E.S.T. Fund is to provide financial assistance to non-profit, community based organizations and individuals that provide programs, projects, services or activities that enhance the quality of life for Bobcaygeon and Lindsay residents in the areas of health, arts, culture, leisure, heritage, education and the environment.

 "I would like to congratulate all those who are being awarded funds this year,” said Max Radiff, Chair of the Lindsay Legacy C.H.E.S.T. Fund Grant Committee. “We know Lindsay residents will continue to benefit from the work of these organizations and we are proud to continue to support them.”

Those interested in applying for funding under the 2021 Legacy C.H.E.S.T. Fund for Lindsay or Bobcaygeon can submit their application by the last Friday in October.
