Kawartha Lakes launches Customer Experience Survey

Kawartha Lakes – Recovering from the pandemic, Kawartha Lakes is in the process of reassessing its services and how it delivers those services with renewed focus on improving the customer experience. In an effort to better understand and address the needs of its customers, the municipality is looking for feedback from the public.

“From public sector to private sector, customer behaviour has changed in the last few years due to the pandemic,” said Steve Babcock, Manager of Customer Services. “To make sure Kawartha Lakes continues to deliver a quality customer experience, it’s time we had a hard look at the current state of our service delivery and adapt where needed. But we cannot do that successfully on our own, it’s critical we get feedback from our customers themselves.”

The municipality has launched a Customer Experience Survey on its engagement platform at www.jumpinkawarthalakes.ca/customerexperience, to help provide staff with the information they need to start identifying and prioritizing service improvements. Hard copies are also available at Municipal Service Centres and by request.

This survey is open to all residents of Kawartha Lakes and looks to capture a variety of up to date information, including:

  • How often individual residents interact with the municipality
  • The preferred methods of interacting with the municipality

  • Recent changes in customer behaviour, between physical and online

  • Current expectations of municipal services

  • Best practices and potential areas for service enhancement

The assessment is ongoing and it is expected that follow-up surveys and other methods for feedback will be required for continuous improvement, so stay tuned for updates. This version of the survey will close on Wednesday, November 30.
