Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Service provides free CPR training on November 5

“In an emergency every second counts,” explains City of Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Autumn Campbell. “Our training is designed to empower citizens with the knowledge to save lives.”

Residents are invited to attend a free hands only CPR clinic in the lobby of the Lindsay Recreation Centre between 10am and 4pm on Saturday, November 5. The clinic is designed for anyone interested in learning a lifesaving skill or looking to refresh their existing skills and knowledge. Paramedics will also educate participants on how to effectively use an automated external defibrillator (AED).

Residents in Kawartha Lakes can obtain CPR certification through St. John’s Ambulance, www.sja.ca.
