Kawartha Lakes Public Library presents Stories for a Saturday Afternoon

Brad has told stories at festivals, theatres, prisons, churches and pubs all over North America and the UK. He tells folk tales, literary classics and personal stories, to all ages and in every type of venue imaginable. Brad is the recipient of the 2016 Alice Kane Storytelling Award and used it to travel to Lesotho (Southern Africa) earlier this year to tell, trade and collect stories on behalf of the Bracelet of Hope charity.

“Brad Woods is a master storyteller. With wit and wisdom, humour and heart, Brad skillfully weaves tales that leave his audience laughing and thinking, often at the same time,” says author Terry Fallis, two time winner of the Stephen Leacock medal for Humour.

The stories and music presented by Brad and Kev are sure to entertain the whole family. Mark this special event on your calendar today.
