Mayor Letham highlights 10 ways Kawartha Lakes is moving ahead
Kawartha Lakes – On May 15, Mayor Andy Letham was the keynote speaker at the Lindsay and District Chamber of Commerce Mayoral Luncheon. Mayor Letham presented “10 ways Kawartha Lakes is moving ahead” and focused on roads, downtowns, community improvement, attracting a new workforce and more. “It’s been quite a journey to this point,” said Mayor Andy Letham. “I want to focus on where we are and where we’re going. We have a great vision in Kawartha Lakes, and our future is bright as we keep striving for the sustainability that is so important for municipalities.”
Residents are invited to hear about the 10 ways Kawartha Lakes is moving ahead at the Mayor’s ongoing Info Sessions. Until June 19, Mayor Letham will be travelling across Kawartha Lakes, visiting communities and providing updates on the state of the municipality.
