The purpose of the application is to sever an approximately 1.0 hectare (2.5 acre) rural residential lot containing a farmhouse and consolidate approximately 37.51 hectares (92.54 acres) of retained agricultural land with the abutting agricultural lot addressed as 774 Little Britain Road. The farmhouse is deemed surplus to the needs of a farming operation as a result of the consolidation of farm land.
If a person or public body that files an appeal of a decision of the City of Kawartha Lakes in respect of a proposed consent does not make written submissions to the City of Kawartha Lakes before it gives or refuses to give a provisional consent, the Ontario Land Tribunal may dismiss the appeal.
