Omemee - Water Service Notice

Omemee - The City of Kawartha Lakes would like to inform residents who receive their drinking water from the Omemee Municipal Drinking Water System, that Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) will be conducting necessary repairs within the water treatment plant effective Monday, June 17 2019 to Friday, June 21 2019.

Although this work will not impact the safety of the drinking water, as an added safety measure water haulers will be on site throughout the week to provide safe drinking water until the repair is completed and water samples are deemed satisfactory.

Please note that you may experience a slight difference in taste as the water is being supplied from an alternate municipal drinking water system. This water is tested prior to delivery to plant as per regulation.
