
Kawartha Lakes – Community operated Outdoor Ice Rinks are now open for the season throughout the municipality. These Outdoor Ice Rinks are prepared and maintained throughout the season by community volunteers.
2022 Community Operated Outdoor Rink locations include:
- Kinsmen Park - 10 St. Patrick Street, Lindsay
- Springdale Gardens - 49 Champlain Boulevard, Lindsay
- Victoria Park - 210 Kent Street West, Lindsay
- Orchard Park - 36 Applewood Crescent, Lindsay
- Manorview Park - 49 Wilson Avenue, Lindsay
- Northlin Park - 150 Albert Street North, Lindsay
- Burnt River Community Centre - 16 Somerville Centre Road, Burnt River
- Tommy Anderson Park - 94 Dunn Street, Bobcaygeon
New for the 2022 season, volunteers at the Lions Riverview Park Outdoor Rink located at 44 Georgian Street in Lindsay have created an accessible barrier free entrance/extra skate rink that can be accessed via Melbourne street.
The new Logie Park Skating Loop is also now open, located at 325 Logie Street, Lindsay. The first of its kind in Kawartha Lakes refrigerated outdoor skating loop is open daily from 12pm to 6pm.
All Outdoor Ice Rinks are free and open to the public for use, hours of operation may vary. Outdoor Ice Rinks are weather permitting and their status can change at any given time.
All Outdoor Ice Rinks are self-regulated amenities and patrons are reminded to abide by the current COVID-19 public health measures and advice. To encourage physical distancing, the maximum number of skaters on the ice may be restricted based on health directives.
