Being Canadian, we all know how weather can effect our communities. During the 2025 Ice Storm, Kawartha Lakes experienced damage in many ways; in addition, there was significant damage to outdoor spaces.
Municipal staff have been working tirelessly through cleanup and our communities are so close to having all outdoor spaces fully functional and back to 'Jump In' status for all to enjoy.
Parks and Recreation will continue in providing weekly updates stating which spaces are open and which spaces remain closed. Please stay safe in all areas and away from those that remain closed.
Big shout out to our community for their continued patience and understanding and thank you to our visitors for their support as we all work through this together.
