
Kawartha Lakes – Parks and Recreation outdoor spaces took a huge hit during the Ice Storm and closed due to significant damage and safety concerns.
As the municipality shifts into Storm Clean-up, these outdoor spaces will slowly begin to open. Parks and Recreation will be sharing weekly updates stating which spaces are open and which spaces remain closed.
Please see below updates as of May 1, 2025:
Open Trails
- Rotary Trail, King Street to Logie Street in Lindsay
- Logie Street to Golden Mile Road, Lindsay (small section of the Victoria Rail Trail South Corridor).
All other trails within Kawartha Lakes remain closed to all motorized and non-motorized traffic (including pedestrians), until further notice.
