Kawartha Lakes – On behalf of Miller Waste, residents in Kawartha Lakes with Monday as their waste and recycling collection day are advised that there could be delays with regular waste and recycling pick-up on Monday, December 19 due to poor weather conditions earlier this morning.

Miller Waste is doing their best to collect all waste and recycling today but if your waste and recycling is missed, we apologize for the inconvenience and want to let you know that your waste and recycling will be collected over the following weeks as outlined below:

  • Waste: the week of December 26 will be a double waste collection week for those that didn’t get their waste/garbage collected on December 19.
  • Recycling: since next week is a paper/fibre recycling week, if your container recycling wasn’t collected on December 19, please put it out the week of January 2.

Please keep in mind that your waste and recycling collection will move forward one day during the week of December 26 due to the holiday on Monday, December 26. See your 2022 Municipal Calendar for more details or visit the Residential Collection section of our website.

As always, please remember to have all waste and recycling curbside by 7am on your collection day.
