Take notice that, pursuant to By-law 2018-020, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes will hear a proposal to release its interest in that part of the road allowance between Lot 12, Concession 6 and 7, designated as Part 5 on Plan 57R-7867, in the Geographic Township of Emily, City of Kawartha Lakes,at its meeting to be held on August 14, 2018, at 2:00 pmin the Council Chambers, City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario. If approved, Council will pass a by-law to stop up and close that part of the road allowance and to release the City’s interest in the land.
A map showing those parts of the road allowance to be stopped up and closed is on file and may be examined at the Realty Services Office of the City of Kawartha Lakes at 12 Peel Street, Lindsay, Ontario.
And take further notice that at the said meeting the Council shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land or interest would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
