
Take Notice that, pursuant to By-law 2018-020, as amended, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes will hear a proposal to declare a portion of the original shoreline road allowance laying in front of Part of Lot 30 on Concession 13, Dalton, Part 13 on RD36, City of Kawartha Lakes, surplus to its needs at its Committee of the Whole meeting to be held on the 8th day of March, 2022 commencing at 1:00 p.m., followed by its Regular Council Meeting to be held on the 22nd day of March, 2022 commencing at 1:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario. Should the proposal be approved, City Council will proceed to pass a by-law to stop up and close that part of the road allowance and authorize the sale of the land to the adjacent property owner.
A map showing that part of the shoreline road allowance to be stopped up and closed is on file and an electronic copy can be provided upon request. Please contact Realty Services by e-mail: realtyservices@kawarthalakes.ca to request an electronic copy.
And Take Further Notice that at the said meeting the Council shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
