Proposed Shoreline Road Closure And Sale
Take notice that, pursuant to By-law 2018-020, as amended, the Council of the Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes has declared that Part of the Original Shore Road Allowance for Part of Talbot Street on Registered Plan 15 and Part of the West half of Lot 27, Concession 2, in the Geographic Township of Eldon, City of Kawartha Lakes, described as Part 1 on 57R-10673 and Part 2 on 57R-9489, surplus to its needs and at its meeting to be held on January 15, 2019, at 2:00 pm in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario, intends to pass a by-law to stop up and close that part of the shoreline road allowance and to authorize the sale of the land to the adjacent property owners.
A Reference plan showing that part of the shoreline road allowance to be stopped up and closed is on file and may be examined at the Realty Services office of the City of Kawartha Lakes at 12 Peel Street, Lindsay, Ontario.
And take further notice that at the said meeting the Council shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
