Take Notice that, pursuant to By-law 2018-020, as amended, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes will hear a proposal to declare a portion of road allowance adjacent to 49 Gardiner Shore Avenue, Fenelon Falls and legally described as Part of Private Drive on Plan 294 Except Parts 1-4, 57R-6561; S/T R444322, A61336, R358042, R196270, R272773, R216094, R212006, R397108, R467427; Kawartha Lakes (Part of PIN: 63160-0087 (R)), surplus to its needs at its Committee of the Whole meeting to be held on November 5, 2024 commencing at 1:00 p.m., followed by its Regular Council Meeting to be held on November 19, 2024 commencing at 1:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario. Should the proposal be approved, City Council will proceed to pass a by-law to stop up and close that part of the road allowance and authorize the sale of the land to the adjacent property owner.
And Take Further Notice that at the said meeting the Council shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
