Take Notice that, pursuant to By-law 2018-020, as amended, the Council of The Corporation of the City of Kawartha Lakes will hear a proposal to declare a portion of the property municipally known as Elgin Park and legally described as Lots 5 – 7, Lots 9 – 13, Block O on Plan 1, Part of Lot 8, 14, Block O on Plan 1 As In TL31341 Except R278226, in the Geographic Town of Lindsay, City of Kawartha Lakes, surplus to its needs at its Committee of the Whole meeting to be held on February 12, 2019 commencing at 1:00 p.m., followed by its Regular Council Meeting to be held on February 19, 2019 commencing at 2:00 p.m. Both meetings will be held in the Council Chambers, City Hall, 26 Francis Street, Lindsay, Ontario. Should the proposal be approved, City Council will proceed to pass a by-law authorizing the sale of the land to the adjacent property owners.
A map showing the subject property is on file and may be examined at the Realty Services office of the City of Kawartha Lakes at 12 Peel Street, Lindsay, Ontario.
And Take Further Notice that at the said meeting the Council shall hear in person or by their Counsel, Solicitor or Agent any person who claims that his or her land would be prejudicially affected by the by-law and who applies to be heard.
