Road Closures and Delays for Lindsay Milk Run/KL21K on July 15

Kawartha Lakes – The 40th Annual Lindsay Milk Run 5K/10K and the KL21K Half Marathon is scheduled to take place on Sunday July 15, starting and finishing at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. The 10K will start at 8am, with the 5K beginning at 8:20am.

The KL21K Half Marathon division of the Lindsay Milk Run will begin on Daytonia Beach Road, Cameron at 7:10am. Traffic accessing Daytonia Beach Road and Wager Road will be impacted from approximately 6:45am to 7:15am. 

A number of roads in Lindsay will be closed or will experience delays from 8am to 10am for the safety of approximately 500 runners during this event. Some of the traffic affected will include Mary Street West, Albert Street, Pottinger Street, Angeline Street North, Springdale Gardens, Elgin Street and Adelaide Street.

Organizers are also encouraging residents living along the routes to join the fun by cheering on participants from the curb.

Pre-registration for the Lindsay Milk Run/KL21K ends on Wednesday July 11 at 4pm.  After this time no further registrations will be taken until race day at 6:30am (for 5K/10K divisions only), space permitting. To learn more, or to register, visit the Race Roster website.
