Kawartha Lakes - Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation and Culture has an exciting line up of Day Camps planned for Summer 2020.
The Little Explorers Camp for children ages 4 and 5, along with the Junior Explorers (ages 6 to 7) and Sports Camp (ages 8 to 12) will run for 8 weeks beginning July 6 through August 28. The new Create and Play Camp for ages 8 to 12 will focus on creative crafts, games and offer weekly workshops and special events. These camps are based out of the Lindsay Recreation Complex and Fleming Field House, Lindsay, these Camps will offer a variety of activities including daily swimming, skating, weekly field trips/special events and much more.
Specialty Camps offer focused skill-specific programming, whether the goal is to improve a certain strength or learn a new skill. These Camps are offered on various weeks throughout the Summer. Specialty Camps include, Aquatic Camp, Junior Lifeguard Club, Swim Camp, Lacrosse, Hockey and Golf Camp.
New for 2020, Fenelon Falls Adventure Camp will be based out of the Fenelon Falls Community Centre August 17 to 21. This Camp is open to ages 6 to 12 and will feature daily games, crafts and activities, weekly field trips as well as swimming and play at Garnet Graham Beach Park and Splash Pad.
Camp fees range from $32 daily to $197 per week.
Registration for 2020 Camps will begin at 9am on Monday March 30.
