Kawartha Lakes – An entrance portion of the trail located at Bond Street in Lindsay is closed due to significant water damage. Residents are encouraged to use the sidewalks to access the trail access points located at the Wellington Street Bridge or at Carew Park/Colborne Street North as alternate access points.
Safety barricades have been put in place at the closed portion of the trail and residents are asked to respect the closure and not to cross the barricaded area.
The exact cause of the damage has not yet been determined. Staff are currently assessing the damage and working on a solution to remediate the issue as quickly as possible.
