Volunteers needed for Lindsay Milk Run and Half Marathon

Kawartha Lakes – Kawartha Lakes is looking for responsible, energetic and reliable volunteers to assist at the 41st Annual Lindsay Milk Run/KL21K Half Marathon. This 5K/10K/21K event takes place on Sunday July 21, 2019.

Volunteers are needed from approximately 6am to 11am to assist with a variety of duties including course marshalling, traffic control, registration, water stations, food distribution, set-up and tear-down.

This is an opportunity for individuals of all ages to get involved in a fun-filled community tradition. Students also have the opportunity to gain their community service hours.

All volunteers will receive a certificate acknowledging their volunteer hour contribution, a Milk Run t-shirt, refreshments and a chance to be part of a fun community event.

The 5K and 10K division will start and finish at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. The KL21K Half Marathon is presented in partnership with Jamie Schmale – Member of Parliament for Haliburton – Kawartha Lakes – Brock. The Half Marathon will begin in Cameron travel along the Victoria Rail Trail connecting up with the Lindsay Milk Run 10K route in Lindsay and finishing at the Lindsay Recreation Complex.
