Volunteers needed for Outdoor Community Rinks in Lindsay

The Kawartha Lakes Parks, Recreation and Culture Division is seeking volunteers to assist with winter maintenance at a variety of Outdoor Community Rinks in Lindsay this winter. Community operated Outdoor Ice Rinks are prepared by Parks staff and maintained throughout the season by community volunteers.

Volunteer duties would include but are not limited to, shoveling snow from the ice surface, watering down the rink and ensuring the skating surface is in overall good condition for enjoyment of all community members.

Lindsay Outdoor Community Rink locations seeking volunteers includes:

• Kinsmen Park - 10 St. Patrick Street, Lindsay
• Manorview Park - 49 Wilson Avenue, Lindsay
• Springdale Gardens - 49 Champlain Boulevard, Lindsay
• Lions Riverview Park - 44 Georgian Street, Lindsay
• Victoria Park - 210 Kent Street West, Lindsay
• Orchard Park - 36 Applewood Crescent, Lindsay
