Kawartha Lakes - As the spring weather approaches, we often see an increase in demand for services at our landfill sites. We would like to advise residents that there may be longer than normal wait times or line ups at our landfill sites in the upcoming weekends.
Please be cautious and patient when visiting our landfill sites should you experience delays. Our staff are there to assist you and are doing their best to accommodate the inflow of traffic and volume increases.
We would also like to remind residents that the Laxton landill site, located at 3225 Monck Rd in Norland has been temporarily closed and is expected to reopen on April 11.
