The City would like to advise residents who receive drinking water from the Lindsay municipal drinking water system, that due to a large watermain break, we are experiencing periodic events of pressure fluctuations and discoloured water. These are temporary issues and do not affect the safety of your drinking water.

To help with discoloured water, please run your cold water tap until clear. Pressure fluctuation will cease once the repair to the main is complete.

Please be advised that operators are working diligently to rectify this issue and regular service will resume as soon as possible.
