Flushing in the Manorview, Woodfield and Fenelon Falls drinking water systems is complete. Staff are currently flushing Lindsay (including Oakwood) and Bobcaygeon.
The flushing of watermains is necessary to remove sediment that gradually deposits in the pipes. There may be brief periods of time when your water becomes cloudy or discoloured; this is not harmful. Simply allow your cold water tap to run until the water runs clear. Please check your drinking, cooking and laundry water before using.
Watermain flushing can also cause temporary fluctuations in pressure. Pressure will return to normal when flushing is complete.
