2024 Hall Rental Fees

Please note:

• Prices do not include HST
• Rates are subject to change and do not include any extra, incidental fees or liability insurance
• The capacity of the hall may be reduced depending on the set up of tables, chairs and other equipment
• The hourly rate only applies to rentals 4 hours or less not all rentals can be considered for the hourly rate
• A 25% premium will be applied to non-resident rentals. All prices are subject to change without notice
• Bookings are based on availability
• SOCAN fees, kitchen space and bar amenities are included unless otherwise indicated

Insurance

You may be required to purchase additional insurance coverage for your event. Please contact the Facility Booking Office by calling 705-324-9411 extension 1226 or e-mail facilitybooking@kawarthalakes.ca for information regarding insurance requirements for your event.

Special Occasion Permit

A Special Occasion Permit is required if a group plans to serve alcohol at an event held in a municipal facility.

To learn more about Special Occasion Permits and to apply for one online for your event visit the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) website.

Once you have obtained a Special Occasions Permit, a copy is required to be sent to the Facility Booking Office prior to your event.

Pay duty Police and Security coverage

You may be required to provide pay duty Police Officers and or Security coverage at your own expense in certain circumstances.

Extra clean up

Extra charges may apply for additional clean up requirements at the discretion of facility management.

The Baddow Community Centre is located at:

This hall is wheel chair accessible, has a kitchen, sound system and stage.

The Bobcaygeon/Verulam Community Centre is located at:

51 Mansfield Street, Bobcaygeon

The Bobcaygeon/Verulam Community Centre hall is located on the second floor of the building. The hall overlooks the ice pad and is wheelchair accessible by elevator.

The hall is not available for rentals September through March.

The Bolsover Community Centre is located at:

Highway 48 and Bolsover Road, Bolsover

The Bolsover Community Centre is wheel chair accessible and features a kitchen, bar, stage and sound system.

The Burnt River Somerville Community Centre is located at:

16 Somerville Centre Road, Burnt River

This facility has two spaces available for rent, a large hall and a small hall. The facility is wheelchair accessible and the large hall features a kitchen, bar, sound system, stage and air conditioning.

The facility is wheelchair accessible and features air conditioning, kitchen, bar and stage.

Coronation Hall is located at:

1 King Street West, Omemee

This facility is wheelchair accessible but does not have accessible washrooms. The balcony is only available for concerts or by request and must be approved prior to event. The Main Hall features a stage and a kitchen.

The hall is located on the second floor of this facility and is not accessible. The hall features air conditioning, sound system, kitchen and bar.

The facility is wheelchair accessible and features both a hall and meeting room on the main floor. The large hall is air conditioned, features a bar, sound system, portable stage and kitchen.

The Kinmount Community Centre is located at:

The Kinmount Community Centre is wheelchair accessible. The hall is located on the main floor and features air conditioning, stage, bar and kitchen. A small meeting room is available upstairs.

The Little Britain Community Centre is located at:

9 Arena Road, Little Britain

The main hall is located on the second floor of the facility and is wheelchair accessible by elevator. The hall is air conditioned and features a portable stage, bar and kitchen. The kitchen facilities are operated by the Mariposa Ladies Auxiliary and additional fees may apply. The Mariposa Ladies Auxiliary offer catering services, call 705-786-2167 for details.

The Lindsay Recreation Complex is located at:

133 Adelaide Street, Lindsay

The Community Room at the Lindsay Recreation Complex is located on the second floor of the facility and overlooks the ice pads. The Community Room is wheelchair accessible by elevator. The space is air conditioned and features a projector screen, kitchen and bar.

During certain time periods there may be temporary service disruptions of elevator access to PAD 1 and Community Room viewing due to closures and private rentals at the Lindsay Recreation Complex. Visit our alerts and notices page to view upcoming disruptions.

The hall is located on the second floor of the facility and is not accessible. It is air conditioned and features a stage, sound system, kitchen and bar.

The Norland School Hall Community Centre is located at:

This facility is air conditioned and wheelchair accessible. It features a sound system and a kitchen.

The Oakwood Community Centre is located at:

1010 Eldon Road, Oakwood

The Oakwood Community Centre Hall is located on the second floor of the facility and is wheelchair accessible by elevator. The hall is air conditioned and features a sound system, portable stage, bar and kitchen.

The Victoria Park Armoury is located at:

210 Kent Street West, Lindsay

This facility features a large main hall on the first floor and a smaller North End Room located on the second floor. Both the hall and North End Room are accessible. The main hall features air conditioning, sound system, portable stage, kitchen and bar.

The North End Room is not air conditioned but features a small kitchen.
