Ball Construction invites trade contractors to apply for Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Headquarters Project

Kawartha Lakes – Ball Construction, acting as the construction manager, is pleased to announce that work on the new Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Headquarters in Lindsay is scheduled to begin this summer. They are looking for trade contractors to apply to work on a variety of projects to complete this major build.

The project will provide modern facilities to support paramedic operations, including: 

  • A state-of-the-art ambulance garage 

  • Offices, training rooms, and changerooms for staff 

  • Gymnasium and fitness areas 

  • Maintenance and storage areas for paramedic supplies 

  • An automated vehicle wash 


Facility details 

Site Location: 230 Angeline Street South, Lindsay 

Site Area: approximately 14,338 m²  

Gross Floor Area: approximately 5,765 m² 

Building Area: approximately 4,646 m² 

Timing: Construction scheduled to begin in summer 2026 with expected completion in 2028 


How to indicate your interest

Ball Construction is inviting prequalification submissions from trade contractors interested in participating in the project. Interested firms must provide: 

  • Details of comparable projects completed in the last five years (CCDC-11) 

  • Current CAD-7 calculation and WSIB Safety Performance Record 

  • Letter of insurance confirming liability coverage 

  • Letter from bonding agent confirming bonding limits 

  • Union affiliation confirmation (where applicable, for trades including Operating Engineers, Carpenters, Labourers, Cement Finishers, Rodmen, and Bricklayers)
