    Tai Chi 1:30 PM - 2:30 PM

    This Tai Chi class teaches the basic movements of Tai Chi, with focus on posture, balance and controlled breathing. It supports gentle ,movement, coordination, and relaxation.

    Nordic Pole Walking 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

    Nordic Pole Walking is a walking exercise that involves planting your poles behind you and pushing off as you walk, engaging your upper body muscles plus your legs. This activity is open to beginners of all ages and offers a great opportunity to socialize with your community while connecting with nature. This walk is led by certified instructors. Poles can be provided.

    A series of Meditation Classes running Sep. 10,17 Oct. 1, 8 4 classes in the course with Pathway to Serenity with Glenda Van Koot.

    Wellness Connections 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM

    In this Wellness Connection class we will be having a beginner Community Drumming Circle. Drumming promotes neuroplasticity, improves focus, increases attention span, it is a type of meditation and can help reduce stress, revitalizes brain cells, alleviates arthritis and lifts the spirits by focusing attention away from anxiety, grief and helps quiet the mind. Come join us to see what it is all about.

    Victoria Manor Car Show 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

    You’re invited to spend an evening enjoying classic vehicles and community spirit at the Victoria Manor Car Show on Thursday September 10, 2026.  

    At this free event, visitors can walk through a display of classic cars and trucks, connect with residents and enjoy a BBQ meal for $10. A raffle will also be held, with proceeds supporting the Victoria Manor Residents’ Council. 

    Event Details

    Date: Thursday September 10, 2026 

    Time: 4pm to 7pm 

    Location: Victoria Manor parking lot, 220 Angeline Street South in Lindsay 

    Admission: Free! 

    BBQ: $10 includes hamburger or hot dog, macaroni salad, chips and a drink 

    The Residents’ Council gives residents a voice in life at Victoria Manor, helps plan activities and supports initiatives that enhance residents’ well-being and sense of community. Funds raised through the event will help support activities for residents and causes important to them. 

    Have a classic vehicle to display? 

    Community members are invited to bring their classic car or truck and display it during the event. Register for free before September 1 by emailing redmondson@kawarthalakes.ca
