Accessible and Specialized Transit
LIMO Specialized Transit is a shared, door-to-door public transit service for people with physical or functional disabilities who are unable to use conventional public transit. LIMO operates in Lindsay.
LIMO Specialized Transit
You must be approved to use LIMO Specialized Transit before booking a trip.
Apply for LIMO
Complete the two-part application form: LIMO Specialized Transit Application Form
- Complete Section A of the application.
- Have your health care professional complete Section B.
- Send the completed application to the Transit office using the contact information provided on the form.

Book and manage your trips
LIMO clients can use the LIMO Booking Portal to manage their transportation online.
You or your designated delegate can:
- Request a trip
- View upcoming trips
- Change or cancel a trip
- See the estimated arrival time of your vehicle
- Update your personal information
LIMO trip notifications
LIMO Alerts can send you automatic notifications about your trips by phone, text message or email.
You can receive notifications for:
- Booking confirmations
- Cancellation confirmations
- Trip reminders
- Vehicle arrival
- Trip changes
- No-show receipts
You can choose which notifications you receive and how you receive them.

Hours of operation
LIMO service is available:
Monday to Saturday: 7am to 10pm
Sunday: 9am to 4pm
There is no service on statutory holidays, including:
- New Year's Day
- Family Day
- Good Friday
- Victoria Day
- Canada Day
- Civic Holiday
- Labour Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day

- Victoria Drug Mart (Kent Place Mall) – 189 Kent Street West, Lindsay
- Lindsay Square Mall (main entrance token machine) – 401 Kent Street West, Lindsay
Monthly passes are available at:
- Kawartha Lakes City Hall – 26 Francis Street, Lindsay
- Kawartha Lakes Public Library (Lindsay Branch) – 190 Kent Street West, Lindsay
You can also purchase a monthly pass online. Allow 7 to 10 days for mail delivery.
Service disruptions
If a planned or unexpected service disruption affects LIMO service, the City will provide alternate accessible transportation arrangements where available.
Information about alternate arrangements will be provided in an accessible format, including by phone, text or email.
