Each year, the City of Kawartha Lakes Environmental Advisory Committee (CKLEAC) recognizes individuals, businesses and students living in Kawartha Lakes who have shown a commitment to improving the wellness of the environment over the past year. Nominations open on Earth Day each year and close in the early fall, with the awards being handed out in a ceremony at a Council meeting. For more information, please contact ckleac@kawarthalakes.ca.
