Medical Waste Registry
Our Medical Waste Registry is for residents and medical professionals who need to place additional bags of waste at the curb each week because of in-home treatment or other medical reasons. The Registry offers a supply of garbage bag tags at no cost to help manage the extra waste.
How to apply to the Medical Waste Registry
To apply for the Medical Waste Registry:
- Download and complete the Medical Waste Registry Form;
- Take the form to your medical practitioner to confirm that in-home treatment is taking place and extra waste may be produced. Your medical practitioner must sign the form;
- Mail the completed form to:

This program will only address the needs of residents undergoing medical treatment.
Large families and other individuals and/or businesses who cannot meet set-out limits will not be eligible for this program. To set out additional bags of garbage above your regular weekly limit, visit our Waste Tags and Items for Sale page.
