Bobcaygeon Beach Park redevelopment dock and boat launch update

Kawartha Lakes – The Bobcaygeon Beach Park Redevelopment project is nearing completion.

The permits and approvals for the outstanding in water and shoreline work have been obtained and the remaining work is expected to start in mid-August with construction anticipated to be completed by the end of September.

“I’m really happy to share some great news that all the permits from the Trent Severn Waterway and Transport Canada for the docking and boat launches at Bobcaygeon Beach Park are in hand. That means work will begin in the middle of August and it’s anticipated to be complete by the end of September. I want to thank everyone for their patience, it’s been a while but the park is going to be great once it’s done,” said Councillor Pat Warren at the July 23 Regular Council Meeting.

Project updates can be found on the municipality’s Major Projects page, www.kawarthalakes.ca/majorprojects.
