Celebrating the 2025 Festive Season in Kawartha Lakes
Kawartha Lakes – With the 2025 holiday season upon us, check out some of the upcoming parades and events happening in Kawartha Lakes:
Saturday, November 29
Fenelon Falls Santa Day
Downtown activities run from 11am to 4pm.
Parade starts at 5pm at West St. S. and Lindsay St., and will travel along Lindsay St. and Colborne St.
Fireworks start at 6pm.
Sunday, November 30
Kirkfield Lions Tree Lighting Event
Happening at 973 Portage Road in Kirkfield from 2pm-5pm.
December 4 to 6
Kinmount Christmas in the Village
Kicks off with the Christmas tree lighting at the train station on Thursday, December 4 at 6:30pm, followed by a day full of activities on Saturday, December 6.
Saturday, December 6
Christmas at Ken Reid
From 10am to 4pm, visitors can look forward to visits with Santa Claus, horse-drawn wagon rides, a Christmas scavenger hunt, Kids’ Craft Corner, story walks, and live music. Admission is free, however, donations are gratefully accepted to support future events and programming.
Saturday, December 6
Omemee Santa Claus Parade
Parade starts at 1pm from Scott Young Public School.
Sunday, December 7
Coboconk Santa Claus Parade
Parade starts at 1pm at Highway 48. Pictures with Santa will be taking place at the Saucy Willow Inn directly after the parade.
Sunday, December 7
Pontypool Santa Claus Parade
Parade starts at 6pm at the Fire Hall.
Friday, December 12
Little Britain Santa Claus Parade
7pm-8:30pm
December 12 – 28
Ken Reid Illuminated Forest
Kawartha Conservation’s Illuminated Forest once again transforms the front trails of Ken Reid Conservation Area into a glowing, white-light wonderland.
Saturday, December 13
Bobcaygeon Santa Claus Parade
Starts on Prince St. (Kawartha Dairy) at 5pm
Friday, December 19
Washburn Island Santa Claus Parade
Starts at 5pm. Santa’s float will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the Little Britain Community Food Bank.
Saturday, December 20
Woodville Santa Claus Parade
Parade begins at Woodville Elementary School at 6:30pm
Sunday, December 21
Dunsford Lions Christmas Parade
The parade route will begin at Dunsford Elementary School at 12:45pm
If you’re planning on attending any of the events, remember to bundle up and be prepared for the winter weather.
