Fenelon landfill scales out of service for maintenance from August 9 through August 12

Kawartha Lakes – The scales at the Fenelon landfill are currently out of service and will be undergoing repairs starting Saturday August 10. The repairs will run through Monday August 12.

The Fenelon landfill will remain open to the community while repairs are taking place. As a result, anyone visiting the Fenelon landfill on Saturday or Monday should expect longer wait times than usual.

If you want to avoid the longer wait times, you’re welcome to visit one of our three other landfills that are open on Saturdays:

• Lindsay Ops landfill open 8am to 3pm
• Eldon landfill open 11am to 5pm
• Somerville landfill open 11am to 5pm

If you’re planning a trip on Monday and want to avoid the potential lines at the Fenelon landfill, your two other landfill options are:

• Lindsay Ops landfill open 8am to 5pm
• Somerville landfill open 11am to 5pm

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and we assure you that we will be working hard to get operations back to normal with as little delay as possible.
