Firehouse Subs Lindsay Partners with Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue to Support Smoke Alarm Campaign

Kawartha Lakes – Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service is proud to announce a new fundraising partnership with Firehouse Subs Lindsay to raise funds for the Door-to-Door Smoke Alarm Campaign, which provides smoke alarms to local homes in need.

From September 23 to September 29, Firehouse Subs Lindsay will donate $1 for every medium sub and $2 for every large sub sold. All funds raised during this week-long event will directly support the smoke alarm campaign, ensuring more homes in the Lindsay community are equipped with life-saving smoke alarms.

"We are thrilled to partner with Firehouse Subs to enhance the safety of our community," said Katie Dukelow, Public Educator at Kawartha Lakes Fire Rescue Service. "Smoke alarms are critical in early fire detection, and this campaign will allow us to extend our outreach and provide even more homes with these vital devices."

The Door-to-Door Smoke Alarm Campaign is an annual initiative that runs from June to September and covers neighbourhoods throughout Kawartha Lakes. However, this fundraising effort is focused specifically on benefiting Lindsay residents by increasing the number of smoke alarms distributed within the community.
